Language is the most important communication tool in global era, however it is very difficult to understand each other only with verbal language between people who have lived in various life circumstances. Marie-In tries to meet request of globalization by providing a variety of educational programs for international communications.

MarieIn Korean Language program is to educate any foreigners and overseas Koreans who wants to learn Korean culture and the Korean language.
In particular, we are opening up a new chapter in teaching with the development of teaching materials that combine Korean language and culture.






Target : Any foreigners and overseas Koreans who wants to learn Korean culture and the Korean language.

Learning Korean through travelling and working

 Qualification : People who register one year program of MarieIn and possess a working holiday visa (may apply 3 months after the semester's start)
- You may work for 3 months as a Intern at ICI

Friendship of Korean and Language exchange
- Make friends with ICI volunteers

 Building friendship through volunteering work at ICI and acquiring a international volunteer
certification

 This program is not merely for learning Korean language but experiencing Korean culture for yourself and acquiring a language skill to communicate with Koreans.

Program Fee    :  1,200,000 KRW per semester

Number of students : less than 5~8 students in a class

- Level 1 : Can acquire the simple communication skill such as greeting, self-introduction,

              personal interests, and understand Korean culture. Also, learn about basic

              manners needed to live in Korea.

- Level 2 : Can acquire the active communication skill to conduct daily transactions at subways, restaurants,

              stores, etc, and can talk actively about the individual's interest

- Level 3 : Can communicate in most situations of everyday life and can have simple conversations

              about familiar social issues. Also, can discuss about Korean culture based ion their

              own experience.

- Level 4 : Can communicate fluently about familiar social topics and be able to communicate

              simply on public situations. Also introduce Korean culture and tourist attractions

              to other people.

- Level 5 : Can discuss and speak logically about formal issues on society such as the political,

              economic, social, historical topics. Also, can perform the simple tasks related

              to Korean topics.

- Level 6 : Can communicate in most situations, formal or informal. Understanding Korean culture

              without barriers.

 

 One Level(Semester) : Each leve runs for ten weeks 200 class hours.  4 hours a day from Monday to Friday, 

                                   ※ Students have to attend more than 80% of total classes for level-up

                                       (Total Class : 200 hours, 80% attendance : 160 hours)

                                 ※ Consist of 6 levels. It may take 1 year and a half for completing the whole course.
